Mt. Scott Funeral Home offers full service facilities to meet the needs of any funeral. We honor all faiths and traditions and can help you put together arrangements that will be meaningful and reflective of the unique life lived.

Conveniently located on the corner of SE 59th & Foster Road, Mt. Scott Funeral Home has been serving the Portland/Metro/Vancouver area for almost 100 years. We have on-site staff available to answer our phones 24 hours a day. You will never reach an answering service when calling us or be charged more for our services during non-business hours. We understand and put your family’s needs first.

Our building is open from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. every day, with funeral directors available from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with the exception of the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day on which we are closed. Funeral directors remain available by phone 365 days a year. Our holiday hours for all other holidays are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Funeral services are not available on federal or observed holidays.

We have an on-site chapel with seating of up to 150 people with a side room for family or overflow. Our chapel is equipped with a 10-foot display screen for playing memorial tribute videos as well as a sound system for playing special music during your service. If you would like to have live music, we have an electric piano as well as music stands to accommodate any musician. To make visiting with family and friends easier after services, we offer beautiful reception facilities with light refreshments and catering options.
